The ECO Centre, founded in 1980, is one of the UK's most well established promoters of renewable energy and the broader understanding of the issues surrounding energy use and its impact on the environment. We provide advice and guidance on energy saving and renewable energy to a wide range of organisations, groups and individuals within Wales and the UK as a whole.

Based in a converted traditional schoolhouse in Newport, Pembrokshire we offer visitors free entry to our Eco House which demonstrates renewable energy technologies in action. We also have an extensive research library, Information Centre and Energy Advisors to help you decide how you can reduce your carbon footprint. There is also a garden area where you can relax.

In addition to the services at the Centre itself we work regularly with schools and community groups and have an extensive resource of educational materials which can be easily accessed. We are also involved in developing projects around the UK and Europe including an Energy Agency for Pembrokeshire, a feasibility study into 'Ecotourism for Pembrokeshire', and the International Network for Sustainable Energy.
