The principal concept of the Wiltshire Permaculture gardens has always been to inspire and empower individuals and groups, whilst conveying a working relationship with nature. In addition to this we hope that those who visit the gardens will go away with a deeper knowledge and understanding of what permaculture is and how the principles of this approach can be applied to many varying lifestyles and on many different levels.

On the site, in the heart of rural Wiltshire, we grow a wide variety of vegetables, fruit and herbs. We work with a wide range of people of all ages from our local community. Together we have built a beautiful earth-walled roundhouse that is our communal-building used for meetings, meditation and other activities.

We feel that it is vitally important to step lightly on the land and to work towards creating harmony and balance in our own lives and encourage others to do the same in a relaxed, simple and non formal way. We are always keen to welcome new volunteers and are able to host retreats or training days. Please phone before-hand to arrange a visit.
