Celtic Harmony
At Celtic Harmony, you can step back 2000 years and experience first-hand how the people of the Celtic Iron Age made food, clothes and shelter from the natural environment, whilst protecting natural habitats by harvesting in the traditional way. We are putting into practice the sustainable living technology of our ancient ancestors!
Celtic Harmony is a not-for-profit organisation with facilities which include two magnificantly reconstructed iron age roundhouses, a sensory and edible garden and crafts area in 13 acres of beautiful woodland. There is a wide range of events and activities for families, schools, groups and businesses, focussing on personal development through increasing awareness of our interdependence with the natural world. Some of the skills taught at Celtic Harmony include fire-lighting, archery, threshing spelt wheat, baking bread, carding fleece, spinning and dyeing wool with natural dyes, woodland survival, green woodworking and sword casting, to name but a few! Refreshments and food are available on request or as part of many packages. Come and experience this truely inspiring place! For more information....
