Set in ancient woodland Epping Forest Field Studies Centre caters for a wide range of groups including schools, families, professional bodies and groups. We aim to provide Environmental Understanding for All, through outdoor education programmes. We specialise in safe and enjoyable first hand investigations of Epping Forest and the surrounding area.

This non-residential Centre offers easy access to a number of different habitats, including woodland, grassland, heathland, marshes, ponds and streams. In addition to fostering a knowledge of the environment, we use the “outdoor classroom” to promote fun learning across a variety of subject areas, including science, geography, art and history.

Our work aims to enrich the quality of life of those who visit us, and we believe that through education we can help safeguard both Epping Forest and the wider environment.
